Employed barrister with 25 years experience working within the criminal justice system, public and international sectors. Experience includes heading the legal team on two public inquiries and working with the senior judiciary and across government to improve efficiency and influence policy making.
Sara is now the legal director in charge of project work at the International Bar Association (IBA) a global organisation working to promote and protect the rule of law, human rights and global legal profession interests.
Past experience includes, sitting in a judicial capacity on the Council of the Inns of Court Disciplinary Tribunal for 7 years until 2021; being one of the first members to be appointed as a reviewer for the National Child Safeguarding Practice Review Panel in 2019, sitting on the Advisory Board for the National Centre of Expertise on Child Sexual Abuse in 2018.
