For 15 years James has helped Managing Partners, CEOs, COOs and CFOs increase profits across a range of global and UK mid-market law firms.
He’s a co-author of The Legal MBA Essentials, a book that brings the theory of an MBA to life with case studies and worked examples, providing lawyers and law firm professionals with the core foundations of strategy, marketing, finance, management and leadership to succeed in a law firm.
In his consulting work, he increases matter, client and practice group gross profit by designing and implementing innovative legal operating models across a range of UK practice areas (notably Commercial and Residential Real Estate, Personal Injury, Dispute Resolution and Employment) with a proprietary methodology developed within my MBA dissertation.
He is a Chartered Management Consultant (MCMI ChMC) and Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA); certified practitioner for Lean Six Sigma (LSSGB) and Design Thinking; and a Fellow of the Institute of Innovation and Knowledge Exchange (FIKE). He’s completed an MBA with Henley, gaining a distinction for my dissertation entitled ‘Process Modularity within Professional Services’.
