Patrick Callinan is a Senior Legal Counsel at Sprout Social, Inc., a leading provider of cloud-based social media management software. With over 14 years of experience in international commercial law, Patrick specializes in commercial, corporate, and data privacy law. He is qualified to practice law in Ireland, England, and Wales.

Originally from Galway, Ireland, Patrick holds a BA and an LLB from the University of Galway, an LPC from the College of Law, Chester, and a diploma in Data Protection Law from King’s Inns, Dublin. He completed his training contract at Eversheds in Manchester, England.

Before joining Sprout Social in 2022, Patrick was a partner at the US law firm Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle LLP, where he advised sovereign states, leading international businesses, SMEs, and startups. His international experience includes roles in Serbia and Dubai, where he provided legal counsel to foreign companies and investors operating in the former Yugoslavia.

At Sprout Social, headquartered in Chicago with offices in Seattle and Dublin, Patrick advises on all aspects of international commercial and privacy law. He collaborates with colleagues to resolve legal issues and supports the company’s rapid growth in the EMEA market.
